Performance-AM & "The Coaching Manager"

Performance-AM is run by Allan Mackintosh BSc. FInstSMM, assisted by a network of coaching associates.

Allan spent almost twenty years working in sales and sales management within the pharmaceutical industry, the last six years spent working as a management coach. This coaching experience has covered three mergers within the industry and as a result he has gained valuable experience in supporting both individual managers and management teams through considerable organisational change.

Allan has set up Performance-AM to support individual managers and management teams identify and attain their business goals through effective coaching. Performance-AM is also here to support internal company coaches to overcome the barriers that present themselves to such roles.

Individual salespeople and sales teams will also benefit from Performance-AM as we will be able to provide ongoing coaching through a variety of media including face to face, telephone and e-mail. Other support includes various sales training courses and the e-book, "Stepping Up to Medical Sales Success"

Teams

In business today, the ethos is very much on teamwork, and when teams work well, they can really make a difference in terms of productivity. The challenge is that working in teams can be particularly stressful - different personalities, clashes of culture, wrong mix of people, inadequate leadership - the list goes on!

Performance-AM can support teams to identify their goals, to evaluate their structure and processes, to establish good working practices within empowering frameworks, to monitor their success, and to ensure that their reward and recognition processes are in place and right for the team.

"The Coaching Manager"

"The Coaching Manager" is at present the lead brand of Performance-AM. The brand has been created to enable and support sales managers to become more effective coaches in the workplace. The brand is supported by a fortnightly free e-zine, a classroom course, an e-course and "The Coaching Manager" e-book and CD-ROM.
