Specialist Laboratory Sales Executives may be involved in
the sales / promotion of anything from laboratory consumables, through to
highly sophisticated medical / scientific equipment such as spectroscopy
equipment and centrifuges.
Other equipment promoted by a Laboratory
Sales Representative might include: microscopes, incubators, testing kits,
diagnostic equipment and specialist laboratory glassware. Along with sales,
Laboratory Representatives tend also to be responsible for technical support
and staff training.

and Food / Chemical Industrial customers.
Whilst Laboratory Sales
Executives may have account management responsibility for Hospital Supply
Departments, they are very different to their Pharmaceutical / Medical Sales
colleagues, in that they tend not to sell to Medical Staff (Doctors, Nurses,
Pharmacists etc))
