PDC Healthcare is the Healthcare division of the People Development Company, set up in 2000 with the primary aims of:

The PDC Healthcare team includes pharmacists, prescribers and NHS managers as well as senior directors and managers from companies who supply goods to the NHS. Our consultancy services meet the standards set out by the Institute of Management Consultants. All our training and coaching work meets nationally recognised standards as set by the Management Charter Initiative, Training and Development NTO and Institute of Sales and Marketing and the British Association for NLP.

Miriam George, MSc MPNLP,

is the founder and Managing Director. Miriam worked in large pharmaceutical companies for 11 years in roles where she provided consultancy and training to colleagues and to the NHS. For the last five years Miriam has lead the PDC Healthcare team in a variety of projects in the NHS, GP surgeries, community pharmacy and with suppliers of medicines and equipment.

The PDC Healthcare team is made up of experienced pharmacists, prescribers and NHS managers as well as senior directors and people with a highly successful track record in selling to the NHS. It is this combination of the insider knowledge and perspective combined with excellent commercial skills that we believe is key to our success.

Eighty percent of our current projects are commissioned by the NHS and they include medicines management, prescribing budget management, priority setting, reviews of services, strategic development in Trusts and General Practice, Clinical Governance, Expert patient programmes etc.

We also help a number of pharmaceutical and equipment companies with acquisition/disposal, pre launch activities, advisory boards, market research and article writing. We also help with formulary activities, business cases and audits.
